What exactly are you doing?

This is a question I have been getting from numerous people over the past several weeks and one that has a simple answer, which my friends in small business will easily understood.

Simply put, I want to help the entrepreneurs of the world expand profits, prosperity, and liberty. I’ve worked with entrepreneurs for a long time and have been one myself.

Everyone then wants to know how I’m going to do that.  I’m going to do it by bringing together and synthesizing the best resources available for the small business owner.  The good news it that there is much we can do about what is currently a very stark situation for small business owners.

We will get into the HOW with each new post.  In a nutshell we will showcase the numerous ways small business owners can leverage technology to increase productivity.  Increased productivity leads to more profits and time.

The Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Big Business and Big Labor

The recent Supreme Court ruling validates my claim of small business being under attack from big business.  I should probably include individuals being under attack also.

Free Speech Lost

From what I’ve been able to gather, the Supreme Court has extended free speech to entities.  Corporations, labor unions, trusts, etc… have all been considered entities, until now.  An entity, according to Merriam-Webster, is an existence of a thing that has a conceptual reality.

The ruling states that entities now have the same rights as a person.  I am a real breathing, thinking human being.  Can a corporation or labor union think or breath on its own?  Of course not, because they are only an idea, a concept created by humans. Read the rest of this entry »
